2007 Coty Awards Dinner. Carl San Miguel was the recipiant of the Citizen of the Year and Blendz was voted as the business of the year. Frank Jewett was kind enough to perform the skit honoring Matt Phipps the owner of Blendz. I will post Carl's skit as soon as I can get it processed.

Annual Toy Program

This delightful fundraiser is sponsored by the Chamber, the City of Campbell, the County Fire Department and the Los Gatos Elks Lodge to buy toys for Christmas for underprivileged kids of Campbell, as well as, Eastfield Ming Quong, a family counseling service and home for emotionally disturbed children. It is held the first Thursday in December at the Campbell Community Center.

This program, with the support of the citizens and businesses of Campbell brings the joy and spirit of the holidays to children in Campbell's low-income areas and all of the children in the Eastfield Ming Quong Foundation. They are always looking for volunteers to help with the annual fundraiser or help wrap the toy prior to distribution.

Campbell Carol of Lights event

The Carol of Lights is an annual holiday tradition in Campbell, CA that takes place on the first of December. This festive and popular display of holiday spirit is made possible through volunteer labor and private donations.Through out the year fundraisers are arranged to help support the event.

Campbell Museum and Ainsley House Foundation

This organization hosts several fundraising events each year.
Education Volunteers - If you have a love of learning and enjoy sharing and teaching, you may want to become an education volunteer at the Campbell Historical Museum. Volunteers sought to help with the third-grade school programs both at the Firehouse location as well as interpreters for the school children visiting the Ainsley House. For information, contact Kerry Dickie at 408-866-2119 or email her.

Garden Volunteers: The Ainsley House Garden Volunteers, working with the City of Campbell Public Works Department, assist in creating a beautiful setting for weddings and events at the Ainsley House. Emphasis is placed on creating a historic garden from the 1920s and 1930s. Volunteers help in the planning, planting, and maintenance of the grounds. Garden Volunteers meet every Tuesday from 9:00 until noon at the Morgan Gallery. No experience is necessary. Any amount of time that you can give is welcome.

Docents/Tour guides: Docents lead school groups and the public through the historic Ainsley House facility. Docent training sessions are held in October. Attendance in the 4-week program is mandatory and a minimum time commitment of two 4-hour shifts each month is required.

Greeters: Greeters work at the admission desk of the Campbell Historical Museum and Ainsley House, greet visitors, sell tickets, answer questions about exhibits, and sell museum store merchandise.

Collections volunteers: The Campbell Historical Museum currently has over 8,000 objects in its collection. Special training is provided. Assist the Museum Curator and other collections volunteers with:
Cataloging the museum collection
Transcribing oral histories
Working on special projects including research, active collecting and
preservation.
Administrative help: Administrative volunteers are always needed to maintain records and assist the Museum Director with day-to-day clerical needs.

The Campbell Chamber of Commerce Boogie on the Bayou

May 17th and 18th - Join us at the Boogie on the Bayou Festival for a fun filled day with your family and friends. Entertainment New Orleans style, Cajun food, arts and craft vendors, Kiddie Korner for the children, and much, much more.

Free Admission and Parking

Campbell Chamber of Commerce - Celebrate Campbell

Celebrate Campbell - This year the Celebrate Campbell awards night will be on March 29th, 2008 7- 9 pm, Villa Ragusa, 35 S Second Street in Downtown Campbell.

Celebrate Campbell is a premiere event honoring our outstanding citizen and outstanding business of the year.

Our honorees last year for business of the year was Campbell Optometrics and for citizen of the year, Pat Hagmann.

The above video is from the event in 2007. Several of Pat Hagmann's friends attended to cheer her on. It was a fun and memorable event.
Usually 200 - 250 attend the celebration. It's not an event you would want to miss!
